Ferguson Builders is looking for an experienced Residential Remodeling Carpenter to join our growing Production team.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works hard, pays attention to the details, and can be counted on to get the job done right.
This is a hands-on role working on high-quality residential remodels and custom projects, with a strong focus on cabinet installation, trim carpentry, crown molding, and finish work.
What You’ll Do:
- Install and adjust kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, panels, fillers, and related components.
- Perform trim and finish carpentry, including crown molding, baseboards, casing, and doors.
- Measure, cut, build, install, adjust, and repair residential construction materials.
- Read and follow plans, measurements, specifications, and building codes.
- Complete additional residential construction and carpentry work as needed.
- Maintain high-quality standards while minimizing mistakes and callbacks.
- Keep job sites, tools, and equipment clean, safe, and organized.
- Work with the Project Manager and Production team to keep projects moving.
- Complete Daily Logs and communicate clearly with the team, clients, and trade partners.
What We’re Looking For:
- Hands-on experience with cabinet installation and trim/finish carpentry is required.
- 2+ years of residential construction or carpentry experience preferred.
- Ability to take precise measurements and make clean cuts, joints, and finish work.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your craftsmanship.
- Comfortable using power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment.
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 80 lbs.
- Experience with framing, drywall, flooring, tile, plumbing, or electrical is a plus.
